SSU 2000 PTP and NTP Blades Upgrade Kits
The Symmetricom IEEE 1588 Blades are fully integrated into the SSU 2000 system. These Cards can be installed as single servers or redundant pairs in any available master or expansion shelf output slot. PTP capacity scales up at a rate of up to 400 full rate clients per card. Front-access IEEE 1588 traffic ports utilize Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) modules for flexibility to support 100 Base-T electrical or 1000Base-X optical or electrical interfaces. All configuration and management is consolidated through SSU 2000 system management ports to maintain security and isolation from IEEE 1588 ports.

The DCD-LPR is a front-end primary reference source used in conjunction with the DCD bits clock platform for synchronizing digital telecommunications networks. The entire DCD timing platform is still a very widely utilized system and due to tight current-day budgets many of these clocks are expected to serve into the foreseeable future. Syncworks has the legacy clocking experience and surplus of parts needed to keep your system running as long as possible.

Originally produced by Telecom Solutions, the DCD line of BITS clocks is one of the most widely used and recognizable clocks in North America. The DCD clocks serve as a common source for the frequency and phase sync necessary in any digital network element, tramission or switching. The DCD line of clocks is also known for its reliability. The DCD clock provides the necessary bridge in timing (holdover) and allows the network to continue to operate slip-free for several hours or days depending on the clock.
The DCD clocks were also designed to facilitate modular growth. DCD systems can be as simple as one master shelf. Up to three expansion shelves can be added to the master shelf, and output slots may be equipped as needed.
Originally produced by Austron, which then became Datum, the PRR-10 was and continues to be a widely deployed Primary Reference Source for digital switches. The Datun Sync Equipment PRR-10 is designed to provide highly reliable Stratum 1 synchronization signals.
The Austron TSG-3800 family of Timing Signal Generators was originally manufactured by DATUM and is made up of a 3800 master shelf and accompanying expansion shelf. They are timing signal generators that generate and distribute network synchronization signals. Input signals can be DS1, E1, 2048 kHZ, sinsoids, or square waves.

Installation & Commissioning
