Provide the solutions necessary to supply NTP to a distributed 3G/LTE wireless network as well as PTP for newer 5G deployments incorporating thousands of locations.
Syncworks is a long-time vendor of network timing equipment, cabling, and tooling products for this customer. In addition, they perform on site installation and maintenance services and an affordable support agreement. For the migration from LTE to 5G, the addition of PTP was necessary.
Because Syncworks knew this service provider’s network so well, they were able to help them lower costs by utilizing some of the existing infrastructure.

Pioneer is a regional carrier in the US state of Oklahoma founded in 1953. They provide wireline access services to residential customers including voice, video and Internet.
Pioneer required NTP source clocks, antennas, cabling and parts that they installed themselves. After installation of the solution, technical issues were detected that required focused support from skilled engineers to resolve.
Syncworks provided remote expert engineering support to Pioneer for sourcing, design and implementation of their clocks and the associated GPS antennas. After installation, technical issues were detected. Even though this was a customer install, Syncworks provided remote support to troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve the issue. They were able to stage the same solution in their lab to ensure all variables were considered.
Along the way, they were intermediaries with the equipment vendors reducing overall effort for the customer in finding and implementing the resolution to the problem.
